Keynote Speaker:
• Dick Heller, District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008)
Additional Speakers:
• Matt Shea, WA State Rep. & Constitutional Attorney
• Chris Troupis, ID Constitutional Attorney
District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), was a landmark case in which the Supreme Court of the United States held in a 5-4 decision that the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution applies to federal enclaves and protects an individual's right to possess a firearm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home...
...On June 26, 2008, the Supreme Court affirmed the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in Heller v. District of Columbia The Supreme Court struck down provisions of the Firearms Control Regulations Act of 1975 as unconstitutional, determined that handguns are "arms" for the purposes of the Second Amendment, found that the Regulations Act was an unconstitutional ban, and struck down the portion of the Regulations Act that requires all firearms including rifles and shotguns be kept "unloaded and disassembled or bound by a trigger lock." "Prior to this decision the Firearms Control Regulation Act of 1975 also restricted residents from owning handguns except for those registered prior to 1975." -— Wikipedia
In the celebrated United States Supreme Court case of District of Columbia v. Heller, Dick Heller prevailed in his claim that individual Americans have the right to keep and bear arms.
Dick Heller is a regular guy with a passion for the Constitution. He works at the federal courthouse in Washington D.C. as a security guard. While at work Dick carries a gun. This is Dick’s personal gun. Yet the laws of the District of Columbia required him to keep his gun at work, in his locker at the courthouse. Dick successfully sued the city government of the District of Columbia so that he could keep his gun at home.
Dick is coming to Idaho to tell his story and motivate others to follow in his footsteps to defend our Constitution and Bill of Rights!

Welcome!
Traditional-minded
Americans have been isolated for far too long. It's time we start
working together to share information and support each other in
our various callings and passions. Preserving these connections, we
also need to strive to be self-sufficient and independent of the need
for any government assistance, especially with the uncertain times and a
likely economic collapse that lay ahead for all of us.
While we are just getting off the ground now, more groups will be added as we compile their current contact information.
If you are part of any constitutionally-oriented political, patriot or preparedness group in the Eastern Washington or Northern Idaho areas and you would like to join the Alliance for American Values, let us know by emailing us at allianceforamericanvalues@gmail.com
If you are living in another community in the American Redoubt, or anywhere else for that matter, and you want to start an alliance where you live, email us and let us know. We'll help walk you through it.
